can we be sure this is true? distances between stars are lightyears long, and this seemed to spread across those distances in how much time, a year? that's just a rough estimate, but almost nothing travels close to the speed of light, so i dont think there would be a visible expanding shell of material traveling that fast Especially since supernovae are relatively short lasting
