That 1919-D buffalo 5c is definitely not uncirculated Touch of wear on all high points Comment from : @cm1660 |
that is because a lot of idiots with lots of money would rather have a bright wizzed coin or cleaned coin than a dark coin with natural luster Comment from : @psilocybemusashi |
I’m seeing them rewarding old holder’s Comment from : @Numizzmaticaddict |
Maybe you might want to hold the slab so that we can READ THE GRADE AND COMMENTS! OR ARE YOU MAKING THIS VIDEO JUST FOR YOURSELF? Comment from : @williammarriott6131 |
I love the early coins It is unfortunate that coins of this quality are disrespected The grading of the early coins seem to not take into account the way the early coins were minted Applying quality standards of 20th Century coins to early American coins is in my view and error in grading philosophy Lovely coins Comment from : @charlesroof7121 |
I wonder what percentage of straight graded coins do not get a sticker from CAC Comment from : @perrydad2001 |
The 1795 dollar had pronounced scratches on it, and looked cleaned to me I’m surprised neither one of those things mentioned on the grading Comment from : @kitrichardson5573 |
Definitely coins you do not see every day I've been collecting for 40 years and I only have one of the coins shown in that date and grade Good stuff Comment from : @scott88keys |
Cool seeing the 1800 dime I have a 1834 dime in natural silver color and a 1820 dime statesofamerica that is very dark grey Ive seen old silver with the dark finish ? Both are F35/40 ? With the 1820 being rarest Comment from : @rockers7889 |

CAC reminds me of some teachers I had years ago: hard ass graders! Comment from : @brucetelfeyan |
Thank you Ben,for your effort and love your humor in each video that you do Thank you for showing me these incredible coins that I almost never ever get to see other than occasionally at a big coin show!🙂 Comment from : @bertsimmons2673 |

Way cool coins !!!! Comment from : @jeffkeller9009 |
All the coin grading companies come up short with information Even just a sentence would do Surface on obv or rev was discolored (or whatever issue) and didn't cross I'd be even better if they gave you a detailed report such as 1-10 on surface, strike and why it received that grade Comment from : @coinguy8411 |
10 minutes into this vid and I think someone peed in JA’s cornflakes on the day of review Comment from : @OM-sb2bd |

Do you charge people when you send in to cac for grading? More than the grading it self? Comment from : @gregoryquinn-f6h |
I love the variety in this video I really like Bust, Seated, and Barber coins Comment from : @14ch14 |

All that money to get a little sticker No way in hell I blow my money for a sticker worth nothing to me I never buy a sticker or a holder for someone’s opinion I have bought and graded coins from 1968 on Spending money for an opinion of a kid from Pcgs or Ngc not for me Comment from : @kevindelong7046 |
Thank you for sharing How long did it take for CAC to grade your coins? What is the average cost of grading these coins at CAC? Comment from : @FWDPM |
I will never in my life spend more money on a coin because it has a cac or any other sticker! If a grading company like pcgs says its the grade thats there opinion , so your just paying " more"for another self proclaimed professionals opinion The whole thing is stupid imo! Your great though ben nothing against you my guy Comment from : @jimmycapps7263 |
Blows my mind that there was once a time when you could buy something for half a cent , history is everything Comment from : @kaynef6637 |
Love seeing the early coins - bust coinage is what I collect so a bit jealous of all those beauties Comment from : @toynn_sugoi |
A lot of great stuff! Love early type coins Comment from : @tekvet01 |

Those are some cool coins, Admitly above my budget Maybe sometime I will be able to get some coins like that Comment from : @mistx7115 |
We need a company that stickers details graded coins like "cleaned" coin that clearly are not or perhaps "questionable" Comment from : @williamlinton1428 |
A lot of really nice coins The nice thing about having a coin store is you never know what is going to come through the door Comment from : @stevenhigby3512 |
You are my numismatic hero Ben-Thank you for showing these beauties Love the early American stuff-brFYI - I never bought currency or ancients until you made them a bit more interesting and understandable, so I now own a few of eachbrThanks brJinx Comment from : @Jinxster-lo1uy |
no Indian head cents with " acne scars" like the 1877 will ever get a CAC sticker guaranteed! Comment from : @ltcol2005 |
So much eye candy! Sticker or no sticker! Comment from : @swilliams937 |
Great coins Thanks, Ben Comment from : @1863dana |
You mentioned that you didn't know if they take Full Head into consideration when they sticker For what it's worth I have a top pop 1 of 3 PCGS 1917 SLQ type 1 MS67 that did sticker In '17 the non-Full Head is rarer than the FH Comment from : @Rods67 |
I wish I could afford those early type coins even if they were all G-4's but it's had to spend 700 or 800$ on a coin let alone 3 4 5k on one but there beautiful Comment from : @davidvandebrake8454 |
I know I've made similar comments before, but I just don't see how it serves John Albanese's business interests to put his seal of approval on his competitors' work now that CAC is a full-fledged grading company Am I wrong? 🤷♂ Comment from : @TheSteveBoyd |
I've seen a lot of darker coins that are that way because of an old cleaning, that may be one reason why CAC doesn't like them Comment from : @petepal55 |
Are those maybe planchet flaws on the 1793 Wreath Cent at 5:56? Comment from : @johnskujins8870 |
Condition rarities scare the heck out of me, like the '32-D quarter - $2,900, $12,500, $85,000 - well THAT escalated quickly! Comment from : @singlesideman |
The early coins are fantastic Thank you for sharing these Just beautiful to see, and these are conceivable to afford, if really hard to find Comment from : @singlesideman |
That 1916 SLQuarter is on my bucket list, but in that condition? I was stunned into silence! What a beautiful example of a way beyond rare coin!! Comment from : @Boxxkarr |

Just a super great munch of coins for all of us to enjoy on a finally Friday Thanks Ben a munch 😂😅❤ it Comment from : @jamesbryant6735 |
A lot of people "ow" and "ah" over Albanese and CAC, but I'm not one of them I think you've proven that CAC isn't skilled at grading early US coinage, especially copper Best to stay away from sending raw early coins to their grading/slabbing service Comment from : @JohnD357 |
Once again, I wonder how many of those were holdered with some pvc residue as Mr Albanese has stated is a common reason for not stickering and many miss when attempting to identify why a coin didn’t CAC Comment from : @chadbenner6316 |
Luster ❤ Comment from : @Stackitupmetal |
Okay the 1795 H10 may be my favorite 😁 Comment from : @CertifiedPre33 |
These early types are some of my favorites the capped bust quarter and half eagles are probably my favorite 🪙 design Comment from : @CertifiedPre33 |

Hey Ben, Thanks for sharing these coins with us - This is another "CAT'S MEOW" video - but that 1916 SLC is drop dead gorgeous - I don't see that well - but that coin looks nicer than a 65 and seems close to FH hope I don't get banned for this - but is it possible that some coins come close but no cigar is because the submitter is not known to the grader? I still say from what others have said - that may be true But, this is an extremely great of assortment of superb coins Still I think that 1916 deserves a little more love Best wishes and Thank you to all of Ben's customers that allowed us a pee at their great coins!!!!! Comment from : @michaelgoodspeed846 |
The one I'm most surprised about is the Barber half dollar That is extremely nice for an MS 62 So many nice coins in that group, though Thank you for sharing them with us! Comment from : @TheQuickSilver101 |
