 Regarding 10:09, the1933 Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle Gold Coin used to belong to King Farouk of Egypt It was later purchased for $7,590,020 by shoe tycoon Stuart A Weitzman at the Sotheby’s & Stacks Auction in Manhattan, New York City on July 30, 2002 Nineteen years later, he sold it at another Sotheby’s Auction in Manhattan, New York City on July 8, 2021 for $18,872,250 making it the most expensive coin in the world In 2004, ten other 1933 Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle Gold Coins were confiscated by the United States Secret Service from Joan Switt Langbord in Philadelphia She inherited them from her father Israel Switt who was a jeweler and coin dealer in Philadelphia The Langbord family sued the government to get their gold coins back but was unsuccessful The ten 1933 Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle Gold Coins are stored at Fort Knox, Kentucky
