My dad was left handed and only one of his 8 children is left handed Unfortunately it was in that push to force everyone to perform right handedly He is pretty ambidextrous now(in his 50's)

I laughed and said no way Me too:-), the school was nervous that they could only help her out on the right hand No teacher were left handed or ameduxuas? Hi my child is 3 and 6 months before sending him to daycare he ate with his left hand painted colored and threw his baseballs with his left hand I told the childcare that I believe he's left handed They're teaching him with his right hand

my parents was not lefties but I was a lefty and they change me to righty i am 13 years old in class, my handwriting is the worst handwriting and I can right fastly with my right hand but now can't also write correctly with my left hand what should I do to come back to left hand? please help😢😢

I was blessed with a left-handed kindergarten teacher, who recognized my left-handedness early on Whenever we were doing writing-type exercises like coloring, she would always remind me to "mirror image" the right-handed kids Thus I learned early on to keep my wrist straight, position my paper with the lower RH corner facing my tummy, and to write "downhill, " which made it easy to see what I was writing We all were taught the "tripod" grip, too Fast forward 30 years and I'm blessed with a left-handed son - who I taught what Mrs Dion taught me so many years ago Fast forward another 20 years, and now Grandpa is teaching his left-handed granddaughter the same techniques Thank you, Mrs Dion!!

My brother and I are left handed, but our parents are right handed I hold my pen as a right hander would but turn my paper to a 90 degree angle so the lines are going away from me It looks a bit odd (so I’m told) but I can see what I’m writing and it doesn’t smudge I didn’t start doing this until maybe high school, in primary school I always ended up with pencil all over my hand, it was permanently silver! When we progressed to ink it was blue brbrAs for scissors, I can cut alright with 'normal' scissors but I definitely notice the difference if I’m using left handed ones, it just feels easier

Hi, my son was forced to draw with his right hand by a teacher when he was smaller, I reprimanded the teacherhowever now that he is learning to read and write I noticed he still writes with his right but sees as a left handed child How do I help him, I was hoping to try the left handed worksheets and hope for the best any advice?

I’m not seeing the OT link you mentioned in the comments Surprisingly I NOR my husband are left handed but we have a PURE lefty, through and through in our youngest (almost 4) brbrOur middle daughter had lefty tendencies, but ended up using her right hand for writing Funny thingher grip is the Ed in like lefties tend to be! I was NEVER able to train her out of it Hindsight, after coaching her in softball, realizing that she would have been more comfortable at bat, batting LEFT HANDED, and watching her SHOOT left-footed in soccer, I see her pencil grip and realize that she maybe a lefty ‘inside’ 😊brbrOur oldest son, who has a PURE righty twin sister, is a mix as well! He always wrote right handed, but golfed left handed, bowled left handed, threw a ball right handed but batted left handed LOVE IT!brbrI’m assuming they got this left-handedness from my dad?
