Your 1928 MS63 with metal missing at the top looks to me like a strike through error Maybe a resubmit would be wise for that designation Due to the current interest in errors it might prove very lucrative for you to get some other opinions Nice haul 😊 Comment from : @jameskirtley2552 |
1928 ms63 it looks like its been struck through grease struck on top right its a expensive mint error and you might have specify and pay more to get it graded that way Comment from : @obione6362 |
You got the grader who had a liquid lunch before grading with that MS63 Good for you, usually it goes the other way Comment from : @disgruntledgrunt241 |
fake 1862 Comment from : @tigerbond4064 |

Always weigh your coins It's almost impossible for a good scammer to make it look and weigh like a coin from period Comment from : @butter7734 |

Is cleaning that bad? The second one was graded unc with cleaning does that degrade value? Comment from : @Yedsaid |
I think the MS63 wasn't properly graded, the upper right part got a scratch that look like part of it has been removed I would ask them for a redoing Comment from : @doliveirajapan |
I hate to take your title as worst grader in the world I was off on all of them High when they went low and low when they went MS I should hang up my loop and get out of coin collecting Comment from : @macforme |

Any plans to add new videos? Would really look forward to seeing them Comment from : @PocketChangeInspector |
The 1932 quarter is some of the most weird valuated coins of them all The MS66 is $800 but the MS67 is worth a whole $10,000 to $15,000 An almost twenty-folded value increase from 66 to 67 Unheard of, as far as I'm concerned Comment from : @DeMedellin-G5 |
How the hell can they grade that as an MS63, it's obviously NOT a 63 Comment from : @DeMedellin-G5 |
the left 2½, it's obvious Comment from : @DeMedellin-G5 |
are the counterfeits real gold at least? Comment from : @roidigitalggroup1721 |

I am with you The grade puts me in the ballpark I wanted to buy a liberty double eagle To get what I wanted, appearance wise, I was looking at 65 and 66’s The prices were exorbitant One day I saw a beautiful MS-64 on Great Collections that put the others to shame It is gorgeous Same thing happened when I wanted a wire rim high relief I ended up getting a 61, the pride and joy of my collection Best wishes and stay safe brFrank brbrSent from my iPadbrbrOn Nov 29, 2020, at 3:32 PM, YouTube Comment from : @frankchase9297 |
You said you scratch your head based on some of the grades Some of the grades I’ve seen makes me scratch my head to the point of my hair falling out! Comment from : @frankchase9297 |
I'm sorry I just confused you are graded your coins at pcgs or bought from them ? Comment from : @seannishan3650 |

What do you do with fake coins after you find out is fake ? Comment from : @KB-ks8jv |
Maybe you have in by now but have you ever considered buying a machine like a Sigma Metalytics to verify your coins? In this video alone it would have paid for itself Comment from : @immacook4u |
Yeahhhhh - Idk if that's an MS63 @18:30???????????????????? Comment from : @andrewhart6200 |
I Bet you like them Indian Heads lol They'coins not Woman Comment from : @whitneymudge3217 |
Gamble on grading How can one differentiate between a bag mark and not a bag mark? I know not Guessing game by grader IMO Comment from : @johnsteady9487 |
All the AU coins were AU; there was obvious light wear on them The scratches are unfortunate; is that common with gold coins? I might even say most were cleaned but PCGS might have felt sorry for you and cut you some breaks! Especially on the MS coins!! LOL Comment from : @kennethbutler1343 |
Those are all beautiful coins scratched or not I know this is an older video but I just picked up a 1908 quarter eagle NGC MS-64 and a 1932 $10 Indian PCGS also MS-64 you should know never clean a coin have it professionally done if anything Comment from : @robertedwards6326 |
Who sends this in to be graded, all that money they charge, If you are dealer and you can't tell if you coins are not fake get a new job Comment from : @ch003pe |
Now they're faking the coin and the PCGS holder that its in! Comment from : @BiffBifford |
Did you ever make a video on how you enhance make some of your coins look better Comment from : @yamaha226 |
Wow! I think they graded some of your coins too high, and too low, they must use some coin type specific system on how scratches, their size and location, along with general wear and tear reduce value Comment from : @ghosthunter9223 |
This is why you buy the coin not the holder and avoid pcgs Comment from : @user-ku5xo1ph9l |
Damn, the counterfeiters are getting better and better with the fake coins! Does the 1862 weigh what it’s supposed to?brThanks for sharing your submission results, it is so informative, and your presentation is well done! Comment from : @Godskingdomwithin |
$2 1/2 Indians are my specialty The MS63 looks like an error coin, you may want to resubmit under the error category Let me know if it is for sale ;) Comment from : @johnwitten3993 |
How do you know they were not switched Comment from : @johnryan2193 |
Your 1928 25 dollar ms63 you got a lucky grade for that one that's great, I've had went to a coin dealer in 2000 or 2001 I bought a 1911-p Indian gold coin and cherry picked 1952-s Wheatie they sat for 20yrs I had them in a sleeve so going through my coins I found them I forgot all about them so I sent them out I was highly surprised when I got them back the 1952's wheat penny came back ms66 and my 1911 p' two-and-a-half-dollar Indian gold coin came back ms63 I was really surprised I got that grade for that, and now gold is up the year is 2020 right now, so to make a long story short I'm a happy camper Nice video, remember you win some you lose some, but I guess in the end it all works out Comment from : @johnstarr8858 |
If you were to resell the good coins what would they go for?? Comment from : @Blackford86 |
I don’t mean to insult anyone out there But can the cases be opened up and switch out the coins Comment from : @Blackford86 |

Very nice 32s quarter,wow Comment from : @Lystn |
scratch means that someone has tested it with nitric acid It's not green, so it's gold- most likely Comment from : @democratictotalitariansoci1462 |
commenting at 03:07 point, left one is a fake- obviously gold plated Comment from : @democratictotalitariansoci1462 |
Were they at least all gold? Losing the numismatic value doesn't sting as much if you retain the gold weight value Comment from : @kurtsarachick9221 |
A fun and very enlightening video, my friend! I enjoy seeing your reaction as you view and reveal the grade Grades were seemingly a bit all over the place Interns at PCGS getting a crack at assigning grades?🤔😂 Thanks for this The 32S is still nice in the holder Comment from : @CSAN |
Damn the eagle on the fake coins looks like a kfc chicken or something mutated haha Comment from : @KKsFish |
Quarter eagles are a 5 dollar gold piece not a 25 dollar gold piece 25 dollar gold piece would be an eighth of an ounce of gold not a quarter ounce Dr G is right about the quarter eagles dollar amount I was thinking of their weight instead of the dollar amount Comment from : @MikeSmith-yo9ch |
Who sold these to you? Comment from : @mc-lp4zl |
I was fooled I thought one of them was real I have no idea they look great Comment from : @lehisilver1191 |
"One is real one is fake, they're both fake!" Well thanks dude Comment from : @woodworkingandepoxy643 |
Yeah back in the day dies didn't last that and everything was done by hand the 63 and that was probably like in the middle of the dies life you got to remember these coin are incused coins Comment from : @johnstarr8858 |
Yeah I just got back my 1911 quarter eagle and it came back pcgs ms63 now PCGS coin value says 600 but USA coin book says 1123:00 so how do you find the true value? Comment from : @johnstarr8858 |
