I like Sovereigns because of the low premiums Much better than 1/4 oz! Comment from : @grgdfgdfgdfgdfgfdgdf8606 |
I reached my 6 Oz goal for 2024 I have the same goal for 2025👍 Comment from : @gmanEVO |

What about 14k jewelry Keep or swap for coins? Comment from : @larstinderholt7438 |
Centurion was similar to about a Captain in the Army today - whose average annual pay is between $60,000 to $100,000 a year So now you know what 1/4oz of gold is really worthbrThat would put an ounce at between $240,000 to $400,000 Comment from : @ejbh3160 |
Lets say, for example, you wanna move to another country How would you transport your stack? Could you just walk through TSA without any problems? Comment from : @vip_supercars3652 |
Cool stat! Being in UK am buying a sovereign a month currently which is approx 1/4 ounce So 12× a Roman Legionnarre with no physical risk We live in blessed times (currently) 😅 Comment from : @stevenivv |
And as the bullion dealers want, 1/10 , 1/4 oz You will get ripped off buying smaller denominations with premium Comment from : @brettpeeloff2120 |
Half ounce coins are still substantial, I would still go for them if selling at close to spot Comment from : @harryzero1566 |
I too have 12 x 1oz gold coins and 8 x 1/2oz coins, its the 1/4oz fractionals that give me confidence that I won't need to be finding a buyer for thembrI do feel very fortunate to have evolved into a sensible strategy that doesnt have me considering further adjustmentsbrI plan to travel alot more in the near future, so stacking cash will become a higher priority Comment from : @harryzero1566 |
read the title too fast, thought it said:brbrhow to stack like a WOMAN LOL Comment from : @therearenoshortcuts9868 |
Can you not buy a bit of each, like a krugerrand, a maple, a nugget, a britanica and an eagle? Comment from : @dolcemalinas9273 |
I just need to slow down with the numismatic coins I love the 2016 gold reissues of the greatest US coins of all time (Mercury dime, SLQ, Walking Liberty Half) Those were not bad, but too many others are Comment from : @sinesaii |
Great vid I couldn’t buy a one oz easily, as in timely I was always chasing the rising price over a 6 month’s time I ended up buying 1/4 oz when I could afford it and only when that size went on sale Thanks Comment from : @Eli-qr9hc |
Really like the historical comparison re: centurion wages Comment from : @mixael321 |
Strategic planning for stacking! If I can't do the full ounce the 1/4 oz is my next move! Comment from : @72cmcinc |
Do you only stack gold or also silver? Comment from : @Edkroket85 |
I realize the premium is high on the 1/10th oz coins but it's all my budget allows me I try and buy 1 once a month Comment from : @trousersnake1486 |
I'm sure most people watching your channel know what they're doing, I do not I inherited some gold coins, and when I asked for a quote from a local shop, it was mainly for the content of the gold only I thought there would be some value for the 1898 S $20 ms63 designation Do you have a video on how to sell a coin? I looked, but you have a lot of videos to go through Thanks! Comment from : @greggm7056 |
I have been buying fractional lately (& actually made 2 purchases recently from Summit) I would buy a "wallet" for the 1/10 oz eagles if it held 10 instead of just 8 Comment from : @cphipps1969 |
Every year in January I buy my gold buffalo, this will be no different If I wanted fractional I would look into older commemorative coins, most of them are gorgeous and cheap Comment from : @vrbanitas2021 |
1/ 4 and 1/2 oz Maples currently Comment from : @johnlovell356 |
I was watching some of your videos years ago Saying premiums on 1/10 were 25 percent Is it safe to say that premiums have come down on 1/10 vs several years ago Comment from : @anthonymusmanno2878 |
Pls do a video on the M Aurelius coin Comment from : @nelsonrodrigues3313 |
In 2024 you would have been better off buying fractionals as you can afford them and dollar cost averaging than saving up for months at a time just to get an ounce Comment from : @rabidghost9649 |
Two years ago i started watching i thought you were off on AGE to build a stack i went with bars mostly 10 and 20 gram im an oz of gold ahead Perth is sick premium ill take extra gold even shitty bars😂😂 Comment from : @SavingInGoldAndSilver |
I have a $5 calculator beside my desk and calculate every deal before I hit the buy cartone oz gold coins should not be over 5 premium over spot Fractional coins are always 20, or more over spot sometimes 50 over spot on some web sites If you are paying 50 over spot you are better to buy one oz coins fewer times a year because you will have 50 more gold Comment from : @bruceposch1449 |
Damn dude I’m so in love with the Chinese Myths and Legends serie😍 Comment from : @SYLPT93 |
👍⚒☕️ Comment from : @billgranger2579 |
Was it a good movie????? I went to see Wicked, which was wonderful Gladiator is on my list next Comment from : @SW-rb9cr |
Plan for 2025 is one ounce/month, but buying on the dips vs once/month Comment from : @maxcactus7 |
Tell Summit they need a 1/10 oz intro deal with the wallet I am not interested in grams Comment from : @johnsanford3596 |
My 2025 goal is to add a few rolls of Platinum 1oz Comment from : @tennesseecoinco |
Starting 1/10 oz monthly because that's what I can afford, even if the premium is higher Comment from : @honeydew4576 |
Last year I bought 1/10 ounce every month Going for 1/4 ounce every other month to save on premiums this yearlf l need to sell a1/10th more people can afford to buy it ,over a larger 1 ounce More liquid My LCS said that his best selling gold coin was the 1/10 ounce Comment from : @barry1705 |
The best fractional gold for the buck are the 20 Francs gold coins (65 grams / 1867oz of gold) which can be had throughout the western world at sub 25 premiums and sell back at 98 of spot Doesn't matter if they're Swiss, French Belgian or whatever they all have the same gold content, just buy the cheapest one you can get And while 1oz AGEs are a great way to go for high net worth individuals who intend to sell them in large quantities, fractional AGEs and their bloated premiums are one of the worst ways to buy gold bullion for both rich and poor alike Comment from : @BA-lt2tx |
My plan for 2025 is to build up my down payment towards my first house Comment from : @kamoroso94 |
I have been treading water for the last 3 or 4 weeks as I wanted to buy a 1 oz AGE to finish the year Problem: Our commuter car needs state safety inspection I knew it would need 4 new tires and probably front wheel bearings and most likely front brakes So I have been looking how much this might cost and put a crunch on our cash flow so I decided that we could buy an eagle if the car bill came in at under $2K Well thankfully it came in at $1300 so we have an eagle in the pipeline to finish off the year strong 2025 We are going all in and purchasing 1 AGE on the odd months for 6 total Even months will stack silver probably 10 oz each This is not an easy thing for us to do and will require sacrifice Comment from : @thomaschew2191 |
Like you I started buying small sizes (1/10) for me and worked my way up to only buying whole oz to save on premi's as the price moved up I brought less volume per year but the value of my stack increase My last purchase was about $2,150 spot but all the stuff I brought before is in the black now even with premis Saving $300 per month i am still a few months away from my next purchase but I feel great about the process So dont worry about price just stay the course and it will work out Yes the price could drop 10 20 even 30 but world events suggest we are headed much higher in the future Just MHO Comment from : @MrMoney2511 |
The only reason I've switched from 1oz to buying 1/10ths is i know I can sell my smaller stuff way easier Even though it's high premiums I just switched my thinking to fractional I guess iam a dome and glom worlds changing Comment from : @goldbearbunny4787 |
I'm finding strength in that quote and your continued great contentbrKeep up the good work! 👊 Comment from : @homesteadaquarius |
I bought 2 1/10 oz Gold Cowboys from SD for $259 each(spot price at the time was $2,189) and i went in to a local coin shop to get a quote and they said they'd give me $240 per coin, when the spot price was at $2,611 at that time Man that felt terrible to hear The ship owner showed me that they purchase at 92 Felt like theybwere scalping in my opinion I did end up selling it to them because I wanted to liquadate to purchase some XRP; but let me know your thoughs on this I still feel like i was robbed But I liquidated my silver(had way too much) and most pf my fractional gold, and I set a budget and ppan to buy 1 oz Gold Buffalos every 3 months starting out After this event, I dont think I can justify buying fractional gold! Comment from : @mrwestssuccess5814 |
Love your videos There is a new YouTuber called “1 Cent” (@1centgold) that in my opinion looks like he is trying to copy your style Comment from : @thepoliticallyindependent1512 |
Last time I bought fractional the 1/10th oz Britania's were the deal Comment from : @cjsjewelers |
Trying to decide what my game plan will be for 2025 Planning on about 40 ozs of gold Just not sure of execution right now May just dca 3-4 ozs a month Comment from : @bo_dink |
My experience is 1/4oz gold has replaced the 1oz gold coin As with any of the three letter agencies, the 1/4oz is currently priced high enough to purchase info, bribes or something more mundane such as a mortgage payment It's also priced low enough that the typical person can afford to acquire real wealth, financial security, a hedge or as a savings account I'm finding that Eagles and Maples in the 1/4oz size are much harder to purchase than their 1oz counterpart So if you need to sell, it is my belief there is nothing easier to sell than the 1/4oz coin Also, in a bull market, you can actually save money by buying fractional and acquiring a 1oz coin sometime in the future, 1/4oz that is Comment from : @pddbuilders |
just a editorial comment Sovereigns probably the most minted gold coin ever are just shy of 1/4oz Comment from : @garynelson4749 |
Good segment to the point Must watch for any new and seasoned stackers,2is1 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻up !! Comment from : @josephshaw7705 |

Just going to keep adding to my stack of 1/10 Britannia's as and when I can, got a bit carried away last year so need to let my cash reserves build up first Comment from : @alexgoss6366 |
I have not added anything to my stack for over 15 years now I have 100 oz silver for every oz of gold Although I have many fractional modern coins, the pre 33 coins make nice fractionals and carried a lower premium As per my original plan, I might trade some silver for gold when the ratio is right Comment from : @Catman8888 |
I favor the quarters anyway I like that they're denominated at ten dollars, making them the one true eagle coin Comment from : @lentzquest |
Nice video, thank you Do you also stack silver ? Comment from : @artwolfstacker |
Fractional is nice, but generally I try to keep it in 1 oz increments as premiums are lower Comment from : @andystieg6339 |
Since California now applies sales tax to gold and silver purchases under $2000, fractional is less desirable as a purchase Comment from : @1man2many |
Fun insight into the Roman coins As for me, when I see my email inbox flooded with announcements of sales and reduced premiums, I know spot price has exceeded expectations and dealers are off-loading coins asap Check the paper gold chart and bingo! good guess Comment from : @1man2many |
All events considered At this point in time I’m buying OXY for divided reinvestment program Comment from : @brianswiff9329 |
My plan for 2025 is watch for the dips and buy what I can afford My go-to are the 1/4 for resale and lunar series for fun For me, stacking provide a few things 1) Monthly reminder of my financial goals 2) Scratches the buying itch and 3) The joy of collecting and speculating on market trends It's has a better ROI than a few movie tickets per month Comment from : @B4SHTF |
Gold looks good on black My goal this year is an oz a month Good luck to everyone Comment from : @mikeyfuma4364 |
Great video always appreciates your content ty for doing the foot work for us my plans for the New Years is to stack a bit more silver piece's collectibles actually I'm about to move about ten oz's of gold into other investments no fun in just stacking if you can't pull some to be reinvested or just taking some profits whichever comes first peace and harmony in the new years to you and family 2024 is almost in the rear mirror Comment from : @doogcat |
In Australia the Perth mint ounce and half ounce cast bars are cost effective to buy and easy to sell, and unlike those pretty lunar coins no tears are shed if you have to liquidate! Hope everyone had a great Christmas Comment from : @plumairalbannach8492 |
Which coins are the easiest to sell back? Comment from : @101jody |

40 pieces of gold food& lodging plus special bonuses👍 Comment from : @Seekingsilver |
I'm doing the same thing in 2025 that I did in 2024: 2 tubes of the newest ASEs and 3oz of gold I did AGEs in 2024, I think I'll do Maples this time around to mitigate the premiumsbrbrThanks for all the great info! Peace! Comment from : @ChristIllusion |
The plan for 2025 is to add another three ounces of gold to the stack It will definitely be the Canadian Maple Leaf, the British Britannia and probably the Australian Kangaroo In Europe, these ounce coins have the lowest premiums Unfortunately, American Eagles and golden bison are sold at a much higher premium, which is not very profitable This is explained by the fact that almost the entire mintage of these gold coins is sold on the American market, with some left over for Europe 20 francs and Austrian ducats are very popular, especially among younger stackers, but also among older ones due to their low premium Thanks Comment from : @poszukiwacz_0134 |
"pullback" for $2100 in Jan to $2660 in Dec Haha Comment from : @syovar1 |
I appreciate your straight forward approach to giving your advice Comment from : @keepdigging |

2025? 😢 We're all gonna be hurting til July Comment from : @desmondcastro3679 |
Per your topic, I've been stacking primarily Eagles or Maples lately, while other gold like the Perth mint stuff goes as part of my "collection" Do you have a source for those nice red velvet lined wood cases? Comment from : @wd3574 |
I believe that fractional will be a more common purchase with people feeling the pinch from longer term inflation I've been buying fractional as well as older gold myself and I expect that to be the case into 2025 Happy new year! Comment from : @TheQuickSilver101 |
Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year to you and those you love Comment from : @oldone58 |
unfortunately my goal for 2025 is a little smaller due to my wimpy canadian dollar but still 1 1/10 maple a month as a regular monthly purchase with a total of 2 oz gold for the year im loving the talk about canada as 51st state even if its just bs from President Trump lol Comment from : @LoveMeGold33 |
Thank you for the video Comment from : @ferebeefamily |
My plan involves watching more movies starring ancient gold ! Comment from : @PatriachalRain |

Never count on getting your premiums back Comment from : @daviddavey1727 |
Wow, you have some beautiful coins Comment from : @SilverLife-oi4ng |
This has been a really good season to pick up fractional gold coins I picked up a few at spot and some with the premium so low as to be almost spot, so I'm very happy 🙂 🪙 🤗 Comment from : @linnspencer2210 |
I've really jumped on the 1/4 oz AGE bandwagon so I'll be doing that often in 2025 As for 1 oz, I'll focus on any pullbacks that occur with a focus on low premiums for AGE and Buffs below 4 and CMLs below 3 Last couple of months I've bought several Krugs (and will continue to do so) because they have been selling at near spot prices Thanks for the educational and motivational videos in 2024 Happy New Year! Comment from : @CatnPhx |
Are 2008 Ultra High Relief Gold Double Eagles liquid? Comment from : @christophermccormick8670 |
2/1, fantastic video as always Completely agree with continuing to stack in 2025, as long as you’re continuing to stack based upon what you can afford Buying the dip is always an opportunity that you need to take advantage of I also want to say that I love the Perth Mint gold coins They may not be able able to be liquidated as quickly as gold Eagles or Buffaloes, but they are fantastic coins and a great part of any gold collection Thank you for the great video sir Happy New Year, and please keep the great content coming in 2025 Very insightful helpful, and entertaining Comment from : @josephspataro3946 |
I mostly stack 1 oz krugerand, british gold sovereign and 20 gold francs for lowest premium Comment from : @titiung |
Merry Christmas and happy new year Comment from : @bobbyp6738 |
