My local bank teller called me last week and said a man cashed in $50 worth of pennies and as the machine counted it she saw several wheat pennies I purchased $50 worth to sort I found 256 wheat pennies and a total of 35 copper It pays to make friends with your local tellers

Make sure that when you use the different types of acids you have a safe setup It can create gases that can be very toxic depending on the process you choose to recover the gold layers I suggest some very informative channels such at Streetips and some of the others who have built safe fume hoods Happy treasure hunting

Hello from Canada there are zinc and steel pennies in Canada from 2000 to the last year 2012, the 09c are very low mintage mintage also some rare types for 2006
