i remember i bought a card that had 3 deep scratches on the back from a guy on ebay and he was like "look on tcgs guide, they class this as near mint" and i was like "since when tf did 3 casms of doom equal a near mint? give me a partial refund or a replacement dafuq" like it frl looked like deliberate cuts with a knife or something X_X i even showed him the pictures lmao some sellers are stubborn, lethargic and don't care it's just money to them, not a hobby

Total mines are about 60 bucks which sucks because i feel like my Dark Paladin should be worth more and my dark magician, and magician girl and others since they so old but, since they not first edition

In 2002, my dear father bought me a STACK of about 40 cards that he bought from one of those coin operated crank machines, like the ones that sell gumballs or such They were all in these cardboard sleeves and I thought they were so cool I got a full Exodia even However, I realized quickly that they were just stickers I’m so glad my dad only got those from a crank machine and not from EBay

in fake yugioh cards i see most of the times they mix up the 1st edition with unlimited edition the gold and silver insignia at the bottom left corner (1st ed have gold - unl have silver insigia)

I just took my old card collection out of my closet Haven’t opened it up in like 20 years I found some really rare cards but one in particular appears to be a Slifer The Sky Dragon misprint I think it’s an ultra rare, but the downside is that it’s in horrible condition It seems like it would be very valuable if the condition was good but in poor condition would it still be worth anything?

in regards to real vs fake there's one detail you didn't mention so could you clarify, if the card says 1st edition but has a silver stamp in the bottom right that means it's automatically a fake yes? I've seen so many creators make videos about this and so far none I have found have addressed this

Can you talk about ultimate rares in a different video maybe, because it’s my favorite rarity and I came across the same issue with them namely when they are really flat It’s like they lost almost all of their nice ultimate foiling and also the stamping and it makes the card less desirable The cyber barrier dragon also looked like it and it gets like this when they are sitting in a large binder for a long time so the pressure flattens it Hope you understand what I’m trying to tell and keep up the awesome content 😊👍🏼
