2 oz silver is actually my favorite to stack They are more interesting than 1 oz coins in my opinion but not too big The problem is that the cost of the silver 2 oz Libertads seem to be going through the roof! I got four of those but never paid more than $47 for them Anyway don't forget about the 2 oz Australian Lunar series

I went to my first coin show in Virginia Beach today and noticed that nearly all vendors are geared toward selling American coins by the year Just not interested in that sort of thing Aside from some Canadian coins, foreign coins/rounds were lacking So, I can understand what you mean by avoiding coin and pawn shops But really, I have no intention of selling what I collect in silver As a newbie, I really like the unique packaging (wood, tin, booklet) of these foreign silver rounds of various ounces At the show, the few foreign rounds I saw were just encapsulated I walked out with nothing as the original packaging is important to me I like the two ounce foreign mint coins and will stay tuned for new releases
