Sometimes you have to step back and see the longer-lasting background impressions that are being formed Two positive things I am hearing very often about Obama from friends: 1 He seems to be a master planner able to execute events with competence and precision 2 He seems unflappable, not panicky but resolute and calm Those two descriptions are huge pluses especially for a presidential candidate People are noticing these two traits, even though they are not really on the media radar
