Im starting to study an MBA at my 26 years old Im a little bit nervous since im in between a very creative person who like to get every possibility at sight and Im also very structured person when it comes to subjects that Im very experienced I believe as many MBA students that a good outcome is a strong possibility from this studies For any person who is deciding to study an MBA and has more good reasons than bad reasons, i'll just say just do itI know personal experience is good, I know that one can make its own network if you play your cards very well, but get this to step in to a more technical level that it obviously get you in high position from the competence I you think it dosent give you any good reason to study an MBA, it is more than valid to just step out and be realistic

Thanks Richard for creating this video br brI am wondering If I can get your thoughts on this: br br- I have been working for over 10 years and have been feeling stuck in my career br- During coffee chats, I was suggested to consider MBA or MS Computer Science (I don't have an undergrad in CS but saw there are some bridging programs out there for those who don't) br brWondering what do you think about MBA vs MS Computer Science? br br- I think MS if usually for those who usually have around 2 years of work experience but may not be appropriate for those with more work experience br- I think with MS CS one tends to become a software developer writing code Pays well but just writing code br- With MBA people usually tend to go into 3 buckets (consulting, IB/financial services & tech) My perception is that the work life balance of consulting/financial services isn't great and also getting there in mid 30s is tough but tech (product management seems to be the most popular role in tech post MBA, though the current tech economy isn't great with layoffs) seems more open with better work life balance br brWould love to get your thoughts

I think the biggest factor and challenges in my MBA work Is too apply organizational behavior and emotional intelligence concepts that I am learningbrbrIts not all nuts and bolts like it used to be We get together as a group and hash out biases and fallacy’s that occur in the workplace Needless to say, im learning a lot Or maybe just becoming more aware

Your videos are really helpful but my situation is complicated :) I have Bachelor in Chinese and English language and literature, I finished my course for Master of Tourism Management in China and I am about to get a masters degree, but I have been working in Automotive industry for two years as a Chinese translator and I've done different parts of Management I know it sounds messy, I know I am into Management and Human resources and I've worked in Human resources for some time too, but I wanted to take a step further and apply for MBA because of the variety of major choices and its high world ranking, it can definitely enrich my experience and CV and maybe guide me to be more clear about my career plan, I dont want to be average in many fields, I want to be specialist in a certain field but I dont know which major should I choose, any advice based on my messy background?
