I don't know why the algorithm recommended this more than a year after you posted it, but I also didn't learn to ride a bike until I was in my 20s I'm 39 nowand I don't really ride bikes anymore Not sure what to make of that, but good for you for getting out there and learning something new!

That so called teacher is actually making it difficult for the learner Don't know if that is on purpose! Thats the wrong way to start learning to ride a bike There are plenty of other videos that teach to start by walking around first with your feet on the ground on both sides while sitting on the bike, instead of trying to peddle it straight away Gaining some sense of balance is the first step

For real, that was good In the usa you are allowed to ride ebikes with a throttle rent one with a throttle and pedals Start slowly with throttle only to learn balance If you got it start cycle Next, buy a 28 mph pedelec so you have the best of two worlds a) a powerful support b) exercise c)funfunfun

Trust this one fact, once moving from a push off, it's almost impossible to fall off due to a natural force that keeps the bike and it's rider vertical after that, it isn't much different to driving, take corners steady, don't go faster than you feel safe, and when coming to a stop, use both breaks, give yourself time, and put both feet out, like landing gear on a plane coming in to land And what ever you do, don't yank the handle bars to turn, just a gentle pull should do, as far as needed depending on the sharpness of the corner
