I’ve got £100k to invest I want to build a nest egg for when I'm older I want to know if it's a good idea to add all my savings into a long term ETF, set and forget Come back in 20-30 years, instead of 250-300 DCA every month Which ETF would you recommend? Comment from : @pauline-o2q |

One of the best things to know is that when your investment portfilio (hopefull in a Roth account) reaches & $300,000oo And the markert is going up 25 to 35 per-year your growth will be over $100,000oo per year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT IS WHEN THINGS GET REALLY EXCITING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Comment from : @samuelhenery |

One question, please! Is NVIDIA a safe buy to outperform the market this year? I'm tired of these new buys every week, just to make up some assets with a low percentage on my $236k portfolio and try to keep everything around 10 Comment from : @RafaelAlvarez-i3b |
|
Ideally, it is good to have such return only if stable investment return for 20-30 years which all we wanted Investment comes to risk if failure No guarantee that you would have average 8 - 10 return a year Normally, it would be good to see if you got return of your investment 3-5 per year Bank interest would fall to 0001- 1 per year on fixed deposit around from year 2015-2019 (depends on your location) Unfortunately, it happened to me in my living place Investment must be monitored and change strategies from time to time Comment from : @bigbrothers2020 |
|
So basically, once at 100k you sre further along the compound interest curve? Comment from : @livelearnandteach7402 |

I’ve heard people say that once your net worth hits $100k, it starts to grow much faster Is that true? It feels like the first $100k is the hardest to save, but after that, things just take off Does anyone know why that happens? Comment from : @JoshuaMartins-sr7ez |

What's the most effective strategy during this period of volatility with the rate cut? Most of my portfolio is in (20 Index funds, 20 CbrD's 30 Bonds/T-bills and other assets) I want to explore different strategies to benefit from a potential bubble Comment from : @EnderSuri |

The flip side is learning to spend and enjoy your money once you have enough One of the biggest regrets elderly people regret is not spending earlier in retirement when they were healthy and mobile brbrThe thrift and saving habits can be very hard to break, but unless you eventually turn your money into something, it’s just numbers on a screen, Comment from : @angus7278 |

Concluded 2023 with a 20 decline in the S&P 500, long-term investors find a promising entry into 2024 Noteworthy ETFs include: $VOO for S&P 500, $VTI for total US market, $QQQ for tech growth, and $SCHD for growth with dividends Calculating my annual dividends, I'm thankful for $167k—attributing it to discipline and focus Comment from : @IsacsonHaddon |
|
Mortgage rates are currently at an all time high since 2000(23 years) and based on statistics on inflation, we might see that number skyrocket further, a 30-year fixed rate was only 5 this time last year, so do I just keep waiting for a housing crash before buying or redirect my focus to the equity market Comment from : @jerrycampbell-ut9yf |
|
Fantastic video I would just add one thing-when investing in an index or brokerage fund with a mix of stocks/bonds, it’s compound dividends and interest, not just interest (as long as the dividends are reinvested along with the interest) Comment from : @anderacpharmd |
|
I'm new into investing which stock would you recommend for a beginner with £15,000 looking to build an egg nest Comment from : @NivisonDovey |

Given the current volatility in the stock market, I believe investors should divert their attention to lesser-known stocks With 35 of my $270k portfolio invested in stocks that have sharply declined from their previously high status, I find myself at a loss on how to proceed, feeling overwhelmed by the situation Comment from : @DavidLucas-so8rr |

Comment from : @fukaxa |

The path to accumulating $1 million varies significantly based on your starting point:
brFrom $900k to $1 million: This requires an 11 yield, which is often achievable in an average year on the stock market
brFrom $500k to $600k: You need a 20 yield, possible in a very good year or over two average years
brFrom $200k to $300k: Achieving this requires a 50 yield, which might take around four average years
brFrom $1 to $100k: This is the most challenging jump, needing a 10,000 return, which is why saving the first $100k is so important
brOnce you reach that $100k milestone, it becomes easier to achieve the rest 📊💡 Comment from : @ranp237 |

Everyone talking about compounding and investment, especially in MF or direct equity, what happens underlying is not compounding, for instance, the appreciation in price of a particular stock sits in BS as reserves and surplus, but the actual deployment of that appreciation towards business doesn't happen Secondly, even if the appreciated money is deployed into the company or not, the stock value may depreciate based on other factors, so when there is a negative return, how does compounding happen? Comment from : @MyDreamHobbies |
|
Does the 100k have to be invested in the same place to get the benefit of the snowballing? Or is it ok if it's very diversified over different investments and just totals up to 100k? Comment from : @jflsdknf |

As a frequent investor, I occasionally ponder how prosperous investors amass such vast sums of money from their ventures I have more than $545K in equity from a recent house sale, but I'm not sure what I'll do with it Should I wait for a better opportunity or is this the correct time to purchase stocks?
