 I mean android phones have had HD calls for over a decade yes apple has yet to make it their standard they have no excuses other than vendor lock-in brand android users have had encrypted chat for a while but apple still isn't gonna support it, they're only forced to support RCS 10 which still has no encryptionbrand even if you don't wanna, there's options like signal, telegram, or element that provide a much better call quality to anyone willing to install an app

 It blows my mind how utterly terrible normal call quality is on cellular networks There is literally zero excuse with the amount of bandwidth available these days Like it’s genuinely a struggle for me to understand people half of the timebrbrI remember I was trying to call my GF at the time when I had 1 bar and she was driving, the call quality was horrendous Yet with the same connection Facebook Messenger audio call quality was fine lolbrbrIt feels like it’s purposely designed to be bad

 The FaceTime audio as well as video quality is sooo so much better than any other options out there brTaking an in call screenshot on FaceTime video basically is taking a picture from the phone that is on the call It’s insane
