Yea i do it the other way around (regarding heads and tails) because it jist feels and looks like the side with the 2 characters on it is the back It even has a character that looks like a B on it so idk i went with what i felt there but good to know it can be either way

This was so clear and to the point My only question is… So what do you do with the numbers? For example after making my hexagram my numbers added up to 45 brFirst roll- 8br2nd-7br3rd-7br4th-7br5th-7br6th-9br That’s assuming I did it correctly 😁

I thought that the changing ying become an unchanging yang and the changing yang an unchanging an unchanging ying Or rephrased, the x line become an unbroken line and the doted one become a splitted line My understanding is that changing line are converted into their opposite

I first learned about how to do I Ching from an old booklet I found from the 70's It actually teaches this method exclusively When I tried looking up more tutorials, I was really confused by all the talk of adding all these numbers together While I'm sure there's some kind of numerological reason people do it that way, this "minority rules" method is far easier to comprehend and remember

Hi Mo, thank you for a great video However, I did not understand the following; you say that after the first cast that you only read lines 3 and 4 Does this mean that only "old/moving" lines are relevant and all other lines are irrelevant? I always thought you read the moving lines even in the 2nd reading? i'm still going to If they're moving in the first hexagram why wouldn't you read them in their opposite moving line?
