Getting my Masters in International Relations and Global Security Paid for by the VA I couldn't tell you if it's worth it compared to other degrees if the tuition isn't covered I have years of experience in the military, law enforcement, intelligence, and AML spaces and it's an MA (vs MS from something like International Studies from something like Georgetown U's School of Foreign Services) and I've been just over 6 figures for the last few years, but that's not counting benefits

My sister graduated with IR degree After that, she took civil service 2 times until she made it She became a contractual staff in our university until she became a regular employee and got promoted 3 years ago Atleast her salary had increasedAlthough my mom is encouraging her to take up masters

Im 20 secs in, this video will either make me or wreck mebrbredit: just finished the video and apparently this major needs extensive planning which kinda scares me bc it took me roughly 15 mins to decide im going to spend 4 years of my life studying it even though I have never heard of it prior to those 15 mins but im 2 semesters in and I gotta say, though it is very irresponsible of me to do that I dont regret it, i like the subjects

I dont think every international relations degree leads to regret I guess the masters in global affairs Tsinghua university offered to schwarzman scholars and masters in international policy stanford are good and reputed ones I believe the university which you chose to pursue matters a lot here because of building networksbrbrCorrect me if i am wrong

I'm 16 and really interested in IR, but I don't know if it's something I like to study for 4 years people have told me that my love for languages and learning about different cultures match the profile of an IR student Still, what I want to know is what kind of job can I get with this degree? I will say as an ir graduate, a big part of why i chose the major is because I had no idea what career I wanted to get into I don’t think I really knew which direction I wanted to go until after I graduated My degree in international relations gave me a really good baseline for a wide range of careers and so After graduation I was allowed to explore my options a bit While I figure a master might be required in my future if I decide to specialize in a more niche area, I am very satisfied with the cultural diversity, real world knowledge and ability to communicate I gained from the wide variety of classes the ir major encouraged

Political scientist rate their satisfaction at 34 out of 5 stars they are amongst the top 38 of the careers, it is an intellectually demanding job so the sense of being someone is definitely there, plus those with experience make a lot of moneybrFor the other jobs yeah not crazy

IR undergrad graduate, got a 1yr masters in a specialized IR field and starting work as a management consultant later this spring not going to be using my education directly for my job, but i credit my studies with giving me the mindset necessary to have gotten hired in this field would recommend
