i paid for two classes, 6k and when i saw statistics questions on my aswb test i had not seen those words ever before They were unfamiliar, never seen, brand new i thought it was one of the bogus questions i didnt even associate chi-square with statistics I really thought it was a joke and I never missed a class Thank you for educating me I wish you tons of success

everyone in the comments are saying that some tests are 'better' to use than others ( t test is better than z test) but i have always thought that each hypothesis test only had 1 test/method that you could use do some exam questions have multiple tests that can be done on them to get the same result and if so what tests can be used instead of others thanks

I think proportions are for categorical response or variables and not qualitative as said here, qualitative research itself its so much complicated with thematic or content analysis of codes and quotes, regarding Z and t test I think its about sample size that dictates which one to be used, I stand to be corrected if I am wrong

Z tests are used to determine critical values in samples greater than 30, that has nothing to do with what hypotheses are being tested As you even demonstrated about the Apple users, if you had the slightest notion that their user's mean age was less than states, you could draft appropriate hypotheses around this no?

i dont know if anyone wil respon but can someone please tell me if this metjos can be applied when testing for relation between MBTI types and s, GPAs and MDCAT scores ( i must tell that all the continous dpendent variables are recoreded as ranges ie GPA 15-20, 25-30 etc, same for and MDCAT scores so with this in mind will i have to use a different test?) pls pls help!!!!

Nice vid senseibrbrThou, about qualitative variables, in case of republicans vs nonrepublicans, males vs females (sry for political incorrectness, I here disregard non-binary cases), would be worth mentioning that when you count the TRUE (republicans, males) as 1 and the FALSE (non republicans, females) as 0, and calculate the mean, you actually get the proportion Ie, proportion is a particular subset of mean

Are T-test between the control group and each treatment groups separately enough? has Anova a role in increasing the statistical power compare to multiple T-tests?
