This looks a lot simpler than how I was doing it today My job threw me into writing them which I’ve done once or twice on a previous job using a more automated system and this is the way it would look but my job has me writing it by transposing the procedure into the spreadsheet and instead of having the test steps written in one cell like step 1, 2, 3, each cell has one step with an expected result which I feel like clutters up the excel sheet and will overwhelm the testers I have 25 lines for just one test case We’re starting up a whole new department with people who don’t have experience in the business we’ve taken over so I think it’ll leave a lot of room for confusion cause I’m already confused trying to break down so many steps

hello sir, hope you're fine i have a question about writing test cases when we want to write different test cases for a specific scenarios, we should think of both negative and positive cases like for example login test cases( we should test with both valid ans invalid data) My question is: is this valable for all scenarios? for example, if i would like to write test cases for testing a buttom, what are the negatif test cases? brfor me, the only test case possible is to test if the buttom work correctly, i mean if the buttom open the right page could you please help me about this?
