An ounce of gold is an ounce of gold, simple as that The gold eagle is still an ounce of gold despite the coin is 91 gold, if you only have the gold out of the coin, it's still an ounce; it's the added things ( a touch of copper/silver-- real mind you) that makes the color a bit different than the maple leaf You can't go wrong with either as they are both beautiful and a safe method of preserving wealth

My first gold ounce was a Canadian Maple Definitely not the most beautiful After that I went for the more beautiful designs in gold I see no point in buying more than one of each design Bars for the most part are just void of beauty, so I don't have many of those

I can understand the Gold Maples, because they are absolutely gorgeous, but why the slabbed Gold bars?
