I'm a student and I know these new ideas wont affect me directly seeing as I'm just over a year away from finishing school, but it's kind of comforting to know that if I ever have kids, they probably wont have to deal with the broken system currently used Comment from : @NotablyUnstable |

learning is extremely broken We have terrible teachers because pretty much anybody can teach really complex topics Standards for teachers are way too low, and it's mostly because we can't attract good teachers because the pay is so low Low pay and easy qualification means that only bad teachers end up teaching Some people who may be great teachers are working in the industry instead Comment from : @rbrtchng |

Interesting video but I echo some of the sentiments of previous comments I think video games are capable of communicating certain elements of a curriculum (in terms of simulations, matching game concepts) but in my opinion it doesn't replace teaching The flawed nature of teaching today lies in (like another comment said) the accessibility of teachers Small class sizes and individual attention to students is critical! I could go off on a tangent but sticking to the video, video games as a medium is so broad, and to have educational video games to me is akin to having educational videos (it's not a one size fits all solution, and it's impersonal) Comment from : @tonymanhawkin |

Why not do wat Finland is doing insted lets get less students in a class so the teachers pay more attention to those students Because here's the thing there is many student in one class which they need to fix Comment from : @stillhaventcomeupwithaname9371 |

While not the solution, this seems like a good step into future potential Comment from : @ulricanderson6089 |
