those are just pennies hes cleaning their is no value to them as far as collectible status, its a penny, and its copper so go ahead and clean all your dirty coins, as their is no loss in value to a penny its still a penny and will spend the same any place just if you want the time to clean em or not is up to you 99 of pennies minted in last 100 years only still have the value of a penny cleaned or not not going to ruin a penny from being a penny in value cleaning them or not no pennies are worth even a nickle in circulated fashion, outside of a few rare ones the trillions in circulation go ahead clean em if you choose to their is no value loss on copper cleaningbrbrgold / silver have more value so dont do it with those metals especially gold, as gold is a super soft metal and deteriorates very easily if wrong chemicals contact it Comment from : Super Trix |

Just so you know the 1944 copper wheat penny can be one of the rarest errored doubled stamped pennies out there Be careful with abrasives If that's a double stamped 1944 wheat penny, it could be worth over $2,000 with the scratches you just put on it A lot more without the scratches Comment from : Jeremy Taylor |
