I love my Lightbicycle Falcon Pros and I have sold several sets as a supplier You can save even more money weight and faff by ordering your Falcons without rim bed spoke holes at no extra cost, negating the need for rim tape By speccing their own hubs instead of DT and Pillar Aero spokes instead of Sapim CX Ray you get a similar weight, strength and the DT style ratchet system too - for a fraction of the price Comment from : @99crashman

Thanks for the video Between my wife and I, we have purchased 10 sets of road, mountain and gravel wheels from Chinese brands Far Sports over the past 10 years The options available are far beyond western brands and the production and delivery times are not as long as you’d expect We’ve typically received our custom wheels from China in about 3 weeks I was initially concerned about warranty and service, but fortunately have never had any issues The quality is apparent not only in the rims, but also in build The spokes are properly and consistently tensioned We have never broken a single spoke in all these miles Customer service has been excellent and e-mails answered almost immediately Comment from : @DaneKromer

I can agree with the other comments when it comes to a long awaited comparison I built two (2) sets of Light Bicycle wheels for my S-Works SL7 and Diamondback Vitesse in 2021 Perhaps it is worth mentioning, I live in the mountains of north central Pennsylvania and average 3000 feet of vertical gain on my 45-mile road ride with both bikes setup with 1 X 12 drivetrain producing peaks of 700 watts when climbing out of the saddle I am no professional rider, however I am a machinist by trade and build my own wheels The first thing I always do before a new wheel build is shine a flashlight down inside the drilling area of the rims One thing I have noticed when it comes to the quality of Light Bicycle carbon rims in comparison to the likes of HED are how clean the drillings are in the "bed" of the rim No blistering of the carbon fiber as the cutters cut cleanly through I think too often wheel manufacturers neglect the proper maintenance and replacement of their tooling This is critical when it comes to structural integrity for maintaining correct spoke tensioning over time Lastly, the communication with Light Bicycle during the order process and after sales support far exceeds most other manufacturer brands that I have experienced How often have you ordered a set of rims and the manufacturer/seller sends you photos of everything laid out on a table along with photos of your order packaged up for shipping along with a tracking number?
