My cell phone hardware comes out to $4 per month Every 2 years I buy a used iphone SE for like $200 Two years later I sell for $125 $75 for 2 years of use I use tello so my phone service is $10 per month $12 with taxes and fees

For me, the first thing we do after getting paid is to pay the bills, 2nd thing is to allow yourself enough to make it through the month, and 3rd put all the rest of the money into a piggy bank that you cannot access unless you break into the piggy bank once it's full

We always just donate; I don't want to deal with the headache of selling Also, once I buy something, in accounting terms it's already a 'sunk cost' so donating it feels better than trying to sell
