Billy Beane was labeled a loser because he never lived up to expectations in MLB! He was misread by scouts and as a result was bounced around to 5 or 6 different teams plus everyone of those teams minor league clubs! Finally, In 90 when the A's bumped him to the minors he asked to become a scout! He should have been one of the biggest names in baseball during the 80's! But, instead he was just another loser forced to enjoy the show(spectate)!
