It's a state of mind and how people view their money, as i see people leaving defensive comments, the "i work hard i deserve X Y and Z" mentality is harmful, I realized that on my own when i was wondering all my money was going and why i didn't even have an emergency fund or savings for something more life changing and i don't make a ton of money to begin with so it matters so much more See people missing the point here, The Dave Ramsey Show (radio/youtube), AKA Ramsey Solutions, the Ramsey solution being living on "rice and beans"(not literally), getting rid of all your debt and taking the path to retiring a millionaire not relying on government assistance programs not being a burden to your children, your family and society
