He is a wonderful teacher, you can tell by how loved and respected he is, he’s not feared, the littles are pleased to take the corrections there’s no feeling of failure by his students, they are engrossed in the lessons and want to do well to impress him not because they are anxious but because they are happy, its lovely to see 😊

Love the way he teaches her! I do have to say, sometimes telling a student WHY they shouldn’t do it helps a lot Or telling them WHY they’re doing what they’re doing He should also mention that having the highest leg is not priority; but having better form is first He’s just saying no, sometimes it doesn’t form in kids brains Like if you said “don’t jump off that cliff” to someone who had no idea what a cliff was, vs “don’t jump off that cliff because you will most likely die”, the person will listen better because they know the reasoning Not sure if that made sense lol

It is so interesting to me how ballet dancers always have the same body shape Is it because the bones grow a certain way if you do ballet from childhood on? Or is it that only those with a certain body type will be good enough to be seen? Or is it that the pressure is so high and they are just all borderline starving and therefore appear similar visually? Or is it all kf the above mixed together?

i used to do ballet , i loved my teacher , she was soo friendly , but my ballet classmates used to bodyshame me and made me uncomfortable so after some time , not finding myself liking the dance anymore i quit , i loved traditional dancing from my home country more ,and i danced on stage and loved it , i do still love dancing
