Very friggin cool I missed this video and just now spotted it after I watched the documentary on the Shipwreck Atocha and the Fisher team who found the mother load The 8 reales was one of the most common coins found in that wreck, but actually are quite rare Preesh!!!

I have one eight reale Potosi grade 5 and a 4 reale Mexico mint grade 4 from the Nuestra Senora Da Atocha My great uncle worked for Mel Fisher Got them from the museum in Key West also have a 1715 shipwreck cob silver coin

Growing up in miami I heard all about the Atocha story with Mel Fisher Its a great story and so neat to see you with one of those coins Last I heard there is still over 200 million in treasure still left to be found from the shipwreck Peace
