George Martin’s AIR Studio in Salem, Monserrat was also used to record the Police’s Ghost in the Machine and again later Synchronicity- before Brothers in Arms So Sting already had a connection to both the studio and the island As was stated, that he was there at the time and available to pitch in was a happy accident! It was hurricane Hugo in ‘89 that devastated the island and closed the studio It lies derelict to this day

I was 14 in 1986 and brothers in arms was one of my first three CDs I ever bought Everyone seemed to either have it or want it - that and Tina Turners Private Dancer I;m embarrassed to say the other two were Go West Go West and Lionel Richie Dancing on the Ceiling Both good albums - but not Brothers in Arms or Private Dancer which are still go to albums for me today

So I recently heard Money For Nothing on the radio, and of course they rightfully cut out the whole "that little f-- is a millionaire" line, but the part I found unnecessarily clipped was the word "chimpanzee" I had never thought that line was racist in any way, and this may be an unpopular opinion, but by bleeping out the word chimpanzee, doesn't that make it seem MORE so? That little remark about the 3D, This was the first real 3D Rendered animation used on TV, the three guys who did it moved from the UK to Canada after this, and started Mainframe Animation, which created a whole industry and genre all their own ReBoot, Beast Wars, and others, and all those Barbie movies done for Mattel, that's Mainframe So what looks dated now, came from the team that set the standard world wide to be chased
