 what about the weight? could a proof coin weigh more? I have a canada 1988 proof silver dollar and it weighs 236 it should weigh 234 on my scale (my scale rounds to the tenth) is this normal or is the coin a fake?

 Good video I would like to add a small correctionbr"this is the kind of coin that actually goes into currency"brI think you mean "this is the kind of coin that actually goes into circulation"brI got a quarter today that looks like a proofit is extremely bright and seems like a mirror finish I've never gotten one that shiny from circulation beforebrI'll have to double check it tomorrow and if still in doubt, have an expert take a look at itbrChances are it is not rare or expensivejust unusual because I've seen many new coins (virtually straight from the mint to the bank to me) and I've never seen one that shiny
