Sorry, but there should be no child tax credit Why should people get rewarded for choosing to have children they knew they could not afford It's called being responsible for your choices Seen parents that go out and spend that on a motorcycle, a sports car, or even take an expensive trip on this money instead of using it to catch up on their debt Stop giving handouts I don't agree with this in the same way I don't agree with bailouts for banks, automakers, and the airlines Not holding people responsible for their choices is not fixing anything Stop spending what you don't have It really is that simple You should not be rewarded because you can't figure this out

This seems great, but would this be a non refundable credit right? Because I know the child tax credit is $2000 per child and that is non refundable It's the additional child care tax credit that would matter Anyways, I think having monthly payments of the credit would be a lot better, creating a more stable extra income for families each month

I think people should decide themselves if the want it monthly or a lump sumthey can decide when taxes are doneit doesn't help everyone getting it monthlythere are people that getting it one lum sum can help morelets say you are 2 months behind rent well one lump sum helps more,or you need t pay insurance bill one lump is better Let the people decide what they want i stead of the goverment

Poor people struggle, they get the lump sum and can't help but overspend because they just aren't used to it Payments is a fantastic option to help struggling families budget that money throughout the year
