If you're gonna get into this business thinking outside the box is key to being successful Dont be scared to get on the phone or go in person and work with customers directly especially if you're local You will be saving them money cutting out the broker and putting money in your pocket avoiding a broker/dispatch service Also if you're delivering ask for a Logistics/Warehouse manager seeing if you can bid on some of their lanes, its an easier conversation while already there I was a broker for 7 years and worked with all the big box stores all across the US, if you have questions just ask
