Yea my grandfather recently passed away and I found a money clip and its centerpiece was a $5 gold coin It was mounted it such a way that the coin wasn’t damaged but it being used as a money clip definitely circulated the coin Still decent looking though

The coin is literally unaffected… Its value did not drop that significantly for being mounted inside a gold bracelet Its not even welded in place, you could literally pry the coin out of the frame holding it by bending the tabs keeping it in place
