I have followed you for ages but this is clutching at straws man it’s just too early, you only have to go most movies multiplexes at the moment, aside from end of Black Adam and Wokanada it’s absolutely dead because everyone is clearly avoiding the release date of Avatar 2 Further tent pole big movies are clearly positioned now for after Avatars done the bulk of its showings I know for one I’m taking my family of five because I enjoyed the first and can’t remember a single person who though it was forgettable, it’s an old school popcorn movie like Maverick and Spider-Man No Way home appeals to all you don’t know what to expect but it will immerse you and take you along for the ride My only beef with this style of movie will be that the story is not going to be an end to end story and we will have the long wait for the next one which only builds interest but that comment falls in to the debate of Binge watching on Netflix/Amazon personal taste which is a hole other debate

One of the clues that this movie series wont be success is the first one Yes for 2009 it was one of the first of its kind but the cgi quickly caught up with them The movie is meh when it comes to story and it doesnt have a huge fanbase like Star Wars or LOTR did The fact that most people forget about Avatar is not a good sign Most people dont even know the characters Literally the past 13 years since the first movie came out I havent heard about it ever since until now No crazy fanbases or reddit forums Nothing I get it James Cameron wants to be the next George Lucas which is amazing but he should have created a new fantasy world because this one not seems to be popular at all

I've seen the first avatar and I kinda liked it, but it was very much a watch and forget things, I couldn't really tell you what the plot was, or who was the protagonist As for this new movie, even if it was a masterpiece, I think spending so much on it that it needs that much money just to break even is a project doomed to fail Like, if it was up to me I would never give such a project the go ahead, too much money to invest with too small a chance of even just making it back, it's not worth the risk, too much could go wrong
