Wow Avatar was cool, but I always thought it was overrated and that the plot kind of dragged on It was definitely a movie you saw for the special effects rather than great story telling I mean the story wasn't bad but the movie just dragged on too long it seemed when I saw in in the theater It was a unique experience however, so I don't think a sequel will be able to recapture that But props to James Cameron for doing the water tank think to try to push the edge of film making again, I will definitely have to check it out just to see how it turns out PS: James Cameron in the opening picture kind of reminds me of Brent Spiner playing Noonian Soong's grandfather (?) in the Star Trek Enterprise series,,,

I remember watching Avatar when it first came out I was in Afghanistan and watched it on a 5 inch portable DVD player and loved it I was so excited when I heard about a sequel I can't wait to see it

The first Avatar movie was visually stunning Theworld truly looked alien, not just shot in an exotic lo on our planet I hope Cameron can create that esthetic in the underwater parts of Pandora :)
