It’s expensive compared to what it used to cost , brbrBut this is what we have to consider , the west has become so expensive now, inflation over the last decade is out of control , brbrThe inflation in Thailand is probably comparable to the rest of the world but still puts it in an area of being much cheaper than living in the west

Josh is right $2,000 or more is around what the average person might spend If you are coming as a tourist grab a hotel vs a Airbnb or rental You won't pay for water or electric You can save a lot on food by buying from street vendors I don't drink alcohol so that saved me some Nor do I need haircuts (bald)brbrCertain areas are more expensive as well
