2 years ago I watched this video and asked my interviewer about their favorite part working here He said we don't have time for this we've got other people to interview brI came back to this video again and used one of the hesitation questions, the interviewer didnt understand it and said "so you're telling us you're not fir for the position, what is this weird question" and when I explained again he was still confused brNow maybe it's a cultural thing, or maybe cuz they were boomers and there's a huge age difference or idk, but I thought it's important to give you an honest feedback

As someone who has been struggling for almost 2 years trying to break into entry level tech positions and after working manual labor and kitchen jobs for over 8 years, ANY office job or remote position would be amazing to me! lol

Its so true about asking about the work culture I make sure the interviewer knows that work culture is very important to me and I also let them know that i'm looking for a position with long term employment If they brought you in for an interview, that means that they're already interested in you for the job so, you have a little control also Keep that in mind

I prefer to ask "What kind of personality do you think would be a good fit for your team?" and when they answer with something like "somebody who is a hard worker but likes to have fun and has great memes," I like to respond repeating back to them with something like, "I possess many of qualities you mentioned and think I'd be a great fit for your team Coworker relationships are something I value very much I take my work very seriously and fulfill my work obligations, but I definitely like to have a good time with my colleagues I am actually known for sharing some of the best work appropriate memes with my coworkers and I have a great sense of humor" Or something like that

I have watched a lot of these videos and ive read a lot of comments claiming success because of the advice gained but unless the interviewer points directly to said "advice" as the reason you land the roll; its probably best to say that the advice "didnt not work"

My education is a lot of certifications and additional training in the field is easy to come by But my courses are being accounted as wellbrbrKnowing that is this an ok phrasing- "Do you have any hesitations about my qualifications that I could mitigate through additional training?"
