I’m just wondering why these counterfeiters did not use real silver? Maybe it’s true that these coins are error coins or experimental coins just like the original 1804 dollar coins that was made of brass or bronze that few of them survive but labeled counterfeit which is more easier to do to get rid of them and for the people not to panic Only a millionaire or billionaire who is stupid enough to spent a lot of money to counterfeit a coin and not doing it right

I have a Morgan dollar that loooks just like the Morgan you have showed with the tarnish or patina on the coin mine was bought at my local coin shop and I weighed it and it doesn’t weigh 267 it weighs only 257 I am not sure if you’re saying the Morgan is fake or no ? Do you think my Morgan could be fake ?

Great video I've seen counterfeit seated Liberty and old trade dollars knocking around at car boots etc but they're always considerably underweight
