I have always been pretty good with math in school, but there was always this thought of whether i was wrong or right ! There are many ways we go about solving problems and at times the simplest equations give us the most anxiety You're afraid of answering & being wrong along with feeling as it should be answered quickly

I had my math exam today 😊 I completed my syllabus earlier and felt confident about doing well However, when I saw the questions on trigonometry, calculus, and some straight-line problems, my mind just went blank, as it often does 😩 I've been facing this anxiety since childhood, and I don't know how to cope with it It's so disappointing as a science student 😔 I'm good at biology and chemistry, but I struggle with math and physics It's hard to explain how I feel during math exams; it often feels like I don’t know anything at all 🥴

As an autistic 10th grader, math has always been a struggle for the most part As an intellectual I find many things really easy like certain life sciences, art, music history, paleontology and even zoology Math has been something really hard This school year I have gotten just a D and an f and my teacher doesn't seem to understand that we have our strengths and weaknesses Math is my weakness A couple of months ago my math teacher scolded at me for not doing the coordinate plane correctly and I almost cried

Im a special ed student My Mathematic special ed teacher was so mean and made fun of me for not knowing an answer and everytime i have maths i cannot help but cry due to fear remembering the she treated me :((( And i hate maths teachers in general because almost every one i had was the worst

I always thought of this all the time everytime I can't understand math, the fact that I label myself that "I can't do math" adds up or programmed my brain that I don't actually know math when in reality, when everytime I focus on the topic I can actually catch up not until my anxiety comes in and my brain starts to worry that I might forget the steps and process of the topic now i would invest a lot of time on working myself with math because it bothers me a lot in school and I know i can perform here in this subject

When I was in 6th grade, my math teacher would insult me because I didn't know how to solve the problems on the board That's when I started to fear math teachers Also, when I was in 9th grade, I usually skipped math classes because I was afraid my teacher would call me to answer the questions My scores on tests were low, and the teacher would tell our scores out loud, so I skipped classes because I was afraid my classmates would laugh at me (this happened in 6th grade My classmates laugh at me because I'm bad at math) I always cry when I get low scores on math or when I can't solve the problem, but I like our 9th grade student teacher because he's really nice and understanding But when the teacher asks if anyone doesn't know how to solve a problem, my classmate (who's really good at math) will say, "It's so easy; just move on to the next topic, sir" So I was too shy to say "I didn't know how to solve it" I'm in grade 10 now and still bad at math, but I'm trying

My math anxiety started when I was 14 on the cusp of high schoolbrbrI was the only male in all female class taught by a super emotionally unstable teacher She would go from absolutely manic to breaking down crying at the drop of hat She made it very clear that she hated me and would go out of her way to single me outbrbrI was always good at math up until that point, but she absolutely wrecked my confidence No one believed me about her behavior until a parent teacher conference when she broke down crying in front of my parentsbrbrShe was literally insane After that, my math scores in classes were pretty random I think a lot of it really depended on how comfortable a teacher made me feel

bcos most people think math as if they can memorize all about without taking neccessary theories, concepts first Math can't be learnt without knowledge about how it must be calculated For eg, imagine you want to calculate the area of circle but you don't know the basic theory of how circle area is calculated
