buying call options usually doesn't work because timing the market now a days is very difficult with all the new inexperienced jumpy traders over the past 10 years Theta eats your profits on call option debit trades, especially the last few weeks before expiration Wide option spreads work better Butterfly option trades are low risk It takes 5 to 7 years learning the market before you see the nuances that show the most likely time to buy or sell option spreads

From this example, with $10,000 - I can only buy 277 shares of YELP That means I can only do 2 call options, correct? Question, when the options expire, you are basically losing the premium paid of 80 for each contract? So if you had 125 contracts, at 80 each, that is how you lose everything? So for a beginner, maybe start with 1 contract(100 shares)
