Please stop the cap Moving large sums of cash flow in excess of 10k is not identified as money laundering The act of placing, layering, or integrating money into the US financial system (such as depositing into a bank account) that was earned from an illicit/illegal activity is what is known as money laundering Furthermore, the reports you’re alluding to are sent to the Department of Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network which is not same the as the IRS

you should clarify that this is only for CASH DEPOSITS if someone has continuous transfers from PayPal or checks coming in that wouldn't be reported the only stuff getting reported is CASH
