I'm one of the people who have been asking for it, and this video is exactly what I was looking for I have one question about shipping: how did you come up with the $10 charge for shipping? I assume that the amount you charge will depend on the size and weight of the game How much would you charge to ship Codenames? How much would you charge to ship Gloomhaven? How about the All-In for Bloodborne?

A the good old 'Volumetric' shipping It is something that a few people don't fully understand Great video as always I've sold through BGG, eBay and I think another site Really should go via Face Book But yes eBay will take the biggest percentage from your sales, they'll also take a percentage of your shipping as well Even if you don't use them to ship through

As someone who sells several games a month, I approve of this video, with one addition: this is purely focused on the US Market For Europe, you have other Facebook groups and other methods of shipping for instance But the basic ideas remain the same Nice video once again How do you find the time to make all of them?

I may have missed it, but do you get estimates for shipping prices prior to making a listing? We all have games of varying sizes and weights so there's no way to get accurate shipping estimates other than going to shipping site and getting an estimate I really hate if if I undercharge shipping as that is directly cutting into my profits

In 2015 or so I lost interest in boardgames and around 2018 I sold almost my entire collection (kept Battlestar Galactica, luckily) to afford a fullframe camera which I used almost every weekend since This put me onto a minimalist journey, further getting rid of stuff I don’t needbrbrI got back into boardgames recently, do not regret the sold games except a few I sold to a friend after being persuaded by a friend (mansions of madness 1, Chaos in the old world and tragedy looper, already got them back), but boardgames and Kickstarter make owning less and spending less money really hard haha :DbrbrThe boardgame community is a bunch of hoarders „I haven’t played 60 of my collection“ here, „this is still in shrinkwrap, when was that Kickstarter, 4 years ago?“ there It’s so refreshing to see somebody like you who curates his collection and really thinks about what he needs and keeps and isn’t afraid to get rid of something I also tend to buy a lot used, that way I can usually sell it for a similar price not losing to much money „Does it hold its value“ is something I think about as well

I could be wrong about this, but I never price-check with eBayfor some reason eBay's prices seem inflated WAY beyond what games usually sell for The BGG price history in the Geekmarket seems to be the best estimate for what a game actually sells for, since it shows recent sales, etc I usually price check with that and can usually sell any game I put up for sale based on those prices!

I was a powerseller on Ebay in other categories and did enough volume to cover the losses from buyer's scamming the system but have been worried about selling some of my old games because one $100 loss could nullify a whole lot of work
