But it doesnt help with the mobile data so unless you have a wired internet connection with wifi router you are out of luck I wonder if mobile network providers actually think of improving this in the future

you have misunderstood the use of wifi calling, you can only use if when calling a person who uses the same app, like facebook messenger, viber, you cannot call a person like you do on a gsm call (you have to input their number) and you need an internet for it to work, its just like a calling somene on viber or fb messenger via mobile data use you cannot receive or send sms on wifi calling thats another story VoWifi is like VOIP but with the aid of a wifi instead of a wired network it is different on Voice over LTE and Voice over GSM where your call and text credits are being used per minute and also it is a Carrier Independent feature other ISP do not offer it yet, hopefully globe and smart will launch it but until now, haven't heard anyone said it is working and signal booster is not illegal as long as you don't interfere with the normal operation of the Carriers signals you are only amplifying your signal and it does not in any way affect any other users, it works like you put a wifi range extender to extend the range of your wifi signal

Sorry pero hindi illegal ang pagkabit ng signal booster sa loob ng Bahay mo dapat recommended nga yan sa lahat, para mas fair dapat eenhance nila ang mga signal sa bawat network dito sa bansa kasi sila ang problema bibili tayo ng load data sa kanila tapos ang balik sa atin poor signal dapat sila ang may kasalanan at hindi tayo

I have a booster prorvided by my carrier for some of the reception issues you described (hilly terrain, heavy tree canopy, metal roof), which is common in my area I find my signal is much, much better by not using wifi callingand I don't like the security issues with wifi calling either
