I’ll be visiting Prague this year I don’t intend using cash so I won’t be buying street food or souvenirs and will only patronise restaurants that accept card Honestly I don’t think cash should be necessary

Stumbled on this channel after another vlogger did a short video on her visit to Prague Now I know that Valerie and Vaclav do VERY detailed videos on practically ANY Czech Republic topic I've only been to Bulgaria Practical advice for Czech Republic is different from Bulgaria Example: Before my trip, the advice was do NOT change money before leaving my home Best exchange rate is with a card in an ATM in Bulgaria I did travel with stotinki and leva Bought very little with my travel card All that being said, Valerie's points are what I'd need in Prague

use an ATM just outside of the city centre and avoid using them in the touristic area Those ATM's will count more from your withdrawal

Do NOT use Ceska Sporitelna ATMs if you are using a UK debit cardThey will charge you 129CzK for each cash withdrawal ATMs which do not charge are CSOB, Fio, KB and Raffeissen

Valery, I have watched MANY of your videos You do a great job and I always get a couple chuckles too I will be traveling to Prague in less than three weeks (woo hoo)! I have just about everything planned for the trip as far as excursions/site seeing goes Right now we are going to do/see: Medieval/underground dungeon tour, ghosts & legends tour, beer spa, Petrin tower, Prague castle tour, Kunta Hora, and of course the astrological clock, Charles bridge, etc Is there any one item I'm missing that you would say you can't go to Prague without seeing? We went to Prague 2 weeks ago (and we even did a tour with Vaclav!) and we used 0 cash, way easier than expected Also the PID Litacka app is fantastic to check routes and pay for public transport
