Us fathers don’t get enough credit… ive been doing this with my daughter since she was a baby Now almost 6, my daughter is very well behaved, listens, not combative, never called me names, or even yelled at me I have never hit my child or yell at her You have to sit or get on their level (with eye contact of course) and explain why they’re being punished brNo disrespect to the Mothers out there, but many of you want to be your child best friend and not the parent When this happens you lose control, respect, and focus Idle threats are useless also when you turn strong and let them do it again 5 min later brStats don’t lie, but Men have more structure and also better at being a single parent when it comes to success of a child Obviously, two parents are ideal :)

My child has diagmosis of ADHD, sensory issues, low spectrum of autism and development delays, can I expect to have the same outcome even if they have all these issues? Do I need to also use other methods since there's more to work with?

I've been teaching since 2006 from 1st grade to middle school, and I can tell you from experience that every word he said is a fact I notice this even with my own child I sat with him face to face in his high chair as a baby and would teach him for 15 minutes a day By the age of 2, he was reading and knew his numbers, colors, shapes, the 7 continents, and even a few words in Spanish!

Holy cow, I help out with a bible study with teens and this applies (with some minor adjustments) This has helped immensely I used to work as a manager and would unknowingly apply a lot of these principles, but didn't make that connection with my students because students were there voluntarily and I would almost ask for permission to teach them I've gotten a lot of advice on what not to do, but this has pulled everything together for me I can't thank you enough for your clear and consise instructions on the topic

how can I tell this to the teachers my son is so busy he failed kindergarten, he has been to two charter schools and now a public Montessori the Montessori put him back in 1st grade along with second n third graders The teacher says his behavior has become terrible and he won't listen as I described 😔 I'm often frustrated he is not learning anything the school doesn't like I want to visit often to keep him on track I do believe in your video, I would like for the teacher to grasp this concept without feeling I'm telling her what to do

This is fantastic I got my degree in pediatric development and psychology in the early 90s when this was some of the main focus I watched in utter disappointment as the next 20 years became a lot of asking permission and no physical touch "child led" learning Seeing this approach come back is giving me so much hope This stuff works and this teachers knack for explaining it is absolutely perfect❤ we need so much more of this in our classrooms
