Dear Erica, I've been watching the video at the same time I'm studying one of the subjects in the bachelor I completely agree with you, but there is something that I want to know The teacher recommended this video to us in the context of the VAK learning styles, and all the texts(articles and more) we have are talking only about visual, auditive and kinestesic learners They ussually talk about the other ways of learning (logical, rythmic, etc) like characteristics of the other 3 (VAK) can we say that it is like this or we should understand that one auditory learner can be very bad (for example) in melodic learning? Etc Do we have some kinds of learning that are related? (For example, are the visual learners better in sequential learning?) Yes - the video considers multiple intelligence theory, information processing, cognitive styles and learning styles It really looks at the different ways people process information, and the assessment looks at the ones that are most empowering More than anything, it educates teachers and learners about all the different ways of learning so instruction can go multisensory and meet/reach the needs of all students Comment from : @drericawarren |
