You do realize that people who subscribe to your patreon that you could mail them stickers for that, people do it all the time, also you post things to patreon that the patreon subscribers are the only people that can see that, therefore you are giving them something, you're giving them access to hidden content

I know they say “die cut” but they dont actually make dies anymore, often times they’re printed on big sheets off rolls and fed to a vinyl plotter They do require more work to weed them out after cutting tho

You probbaly did this but check if they print in RGB or CYNK and have your screen calobrated for print Everything I print looks exactly as it does on screen (like 5 diff) Working in CYNK (or converting to it using photoshop)

Highly recommend you get a label printer for shipping, it will save you a LOT of time (plus there won't be any input errors from your end) If you can integrate a rate shopping service for shipping into squarespace (like easypost) you'll never have to worry about shipping rates again either Good luck! Thanks for sharing your experience, personally if I ever manage I'll probably just stick to places like red-bubble, depending on the drawbacks of coursebrAlso- I recommend opening a Kofi instead of a Patreon, otherwise look for alternatives, like Subscribstar, Boosty, etc Kofi is less demanding and less strict from what I've heard, and there's literally just a 1-time donation option which is nice That way you don't have to worry about patreon rewards or smth, you literally can just be given donations as an option, or single time purchases as well I think

You know, I made roughly 60k a year drawing pokemon/furry pr0n It was nice money, but it genuinely felt gross and morally dark I am religious, so I struggled with the morality of doing sinful tasks for income I quit a few years ago, and I'm making a lot less with a normal job, but at least I don't feel like a creep anymore There's so much money to be made if you're up for it though

I sell and ship leftover Magic cards I buy digital stamps and print them on my envelope with the address, to save time I also use cardboard which is just big enough to protect the cards to reduce wight Maybe this helps you Will order some stickers now :3

Work in photoshop and change the mode form RGB to CMYKRGB is color mode made for screens and CMYK is made for printing so if you want 6our colors to stay nice work in CMYK

i'm glad you made a video about stickers i've been selling stickers using drop shipping instead i used to use printify and printiful and everything in between, but honestly after calculating everything its only a couple cents cheaper vs teepublic and redbubble yes they're expensive, yes they take a huge cut but for all the work they do, its kinda worth it vs doing the automation yourselfbrbrhooking up your account, uploading all your product listings to the drop shippers and your website, which in most cases doesn't update your site and store listings websites sometimes take an addition fee or money to sell on(wix, you have to pay a subscription to sell on their site, using their store that is square(not squarespace) takes a additional fee shipping dealing with defects which is lost of money for you, shipping, packaging, did i mention shipping and the worst part, customer service for the headache and being only a couple cents more expensive, i just went with redbubble and teepublic again this is for drop shippingbrbri want to try out traditional stickers and see how much it costs, i heard it saves way more money (especially using stamps when shipping) but i don't really wanna start buying ink, ink is expensive(could always just buy from a manufacturer) i also don't want to package all the orders up myself at some point, i feel it wont be worth the labor if the orders become huge but looking forward to seeing your experience, will be very helpful to my sticker journey as well br(my honest opinion, holographic die cut stickers with a full image of a popular character always seems to sell especially anime girls though i also have the power of nsfw/fanart on my side(also fair warning: fanart can be a pain to sell sometimes))

Graphical programmer here, getting colors on print is next to impossible without trail and errorbrRGB/CMYK are only technical representation of colors Besides obvious issues like gamma/luminosity that will cause colors to appear much brighter, screens also have different color gamuts that will cause difference in saturation (200 on AdobeRGB could be a 255 on sRGB), diodes (OLED vs IPS vs LED), and other problematic stuff that turn everything into clusterf*ck Similar issues are occurring on printer side too

For me who also started a sticker business irl It isn’t hard, you will make money from the people online and offline who support you but that’s itbrbrThis isn’t about expectations But the cost of sticker print on demand is expensive compared to cost of printing in bulk Plus shipments etc as mentioned in the videobrA person whom I know who runs a print factory also gave me this advice Sticker is a good merch as an add on not as a stand alone If it works for you great but if it doesn’t consider keeping it as an add on merch instead and it should do you better I did take this advice of theirs personally and ran a sticker print on demand along with commission prints as posters and T-shirts and it is doing me better Hope this info helps someone out there
