I don’t understand why people are climbing Everest in the first place The Bible spoke of the men who were building a tower to heaven and God was angry so he made them speak different languages and the building was halted The people who climbed and lived say it was the most spectacular thing they ever did in their lives However they also said they were terrified many times before and during the journey So why do it and put your money into cleaning up the tons of garbage left behind on the land? The mountain is there for all to enjoy and that means the people who live there need clean water!

Everyone has an idea of what we are to gain from this opportunity of life, and for some climbing the "worlds tallest mountain" is the pinnacle of a self-resume Is it more about the experience or to revel in recounting the experience to others Would you think it was a bit strange if sherpas came to say new york or las vegas and hired a poor person to carry thier luggage sight see and not get mugged? The death ratio is arguable about the same with just as many amenities and handholds as you get over the raw experience without handlines, supplemental oxygen, and psrsonal caddiesbrMy personal doctor is one of the most worthless individuals on this earth with a picture ontop of everest, if your in shape and barring any unforseen circumstances your getting to the top fof your picture and story

I heard Green Boots was put kinda behind a rock structure but he's visible again When I was younger, I wanted to summit Everest But Krakuer story into thin air story cured me Now you couldn't pay me a bajillion I wouldnt mind trekking, but summiting wouldnt be important to me I lived in India for over a decade but could never find any others who were interested It's crazy how few Indians are interested in the high peaks Being a female, I never felt safe on solo travel
