So many of these lists go off of gross income, which makes no sense It should be after-tax dollars You have 100 to allocate after tax You can't allocate 100 of your gross income without factoring in taxes

Thank you for this video Do you perhaps have a similar template to use to track debt being paid off over time? Essentially, if the categories captured in the tracker could be linked to a different sheet in the workbook for each month, one could potentially view their progress of paying off items over time and seeing the total amount outstanding decrease from the original amount

I think I'd rather transfer funds to savings manually at the end of the month, so if I have saved more I can transfer more and if i have unexpected expenses i don't have to worry about getting money out of the savings account, I'm not the type to overspend anyways

I just ran the numbers for my income and can't get expenses under 50 These are not including anything frivolous brThe only thing I can do to change that is either do overtime (paid at flat rate hence why I don't at present) look for a part time job in evenings & /or weekends, or just get a better paid job anyway
