My first company I got lucky and got 500k on the first try with the first investor I’m starting my 2nd company and now need more as it’s a much more complex company, I don’t think it will be a problem but it’s not as easy My first company was low risk and basically the investment had a mechanism to pay back the investor which made it appealing 2nd company need capital for longer and can’t support that structure so it’s less appealing Wish me luck

Really grounded things in reality A quote I picked up this week was the best time to start a company is when you can no longer tolerate NOT starting it I’ve reached that point and the business idea has matured over the years Only problem is having the technical assistance for website / platform creation, money, etc seed funding sounds like a great way to do that!

If one just started his own company, and the first costs presumably 150000€, for what so ever need to be paid, would you recommend going directly to angel investors and present them your idea, for which you by the time have no number in place, and for which you can only come up with estimations, or would you start by collecting this money by crowdfunding, start selling and contact those investors the moment you need more capital to expand? Hi Caya, when you added 25 new team members with the $800k, were they remote workers based in other countries? On average that'd be about $32k/team member as a salary which doesn't seem feasible in the US market (for highly qualified individuals)
