Dear sir, first version of 20 francs Marianne Coq from 1899 to 1906 contain 902 pure gold - On the rim ' DIEU PROTEGE LA FRANCE ' (before the separation of the State and the religion in 1905) The second version from 1907 to 1914 has ' LIBERTE EGALITE FRATERNITE ' on the rim This second version was re-coined betwen 1951 to 1960 known as Pinay coined named after the minister of economy of the time - These re-coind are a bit more reddish and contain only 900 pure gold The 1907 to 1914 coins have often been used at the time in everyday market The Pinay recoined were usually put in a safe and often look as new Good day

I got my first 1947 Helvitia 20 Swiss Franc, minted in Bern, a few weeks ago It's not a restrike like others from after WWII Mine looks great I love the old 90 It's set in a gold ring I'm gonna start stacking It's real money
